Privacy, in plain language
Effective July 14, 2026. QuoteJig is in open beta; if this policy changes, the change and its date will be noted here.
Short version: we store what the product needs to work, an AI model reads your job notes (never your prices) to draft quotes, we run no ads, and we don't sell data. Full version below.
What we store
- Your account — email address and login credentials, handled by our database provider's auth system.
- Your price book — assemblies, keywords, and the prices you enter. It's never shared and never used to price anyone else's quotes.
- Your quotes — line items, clients, totals, statuses.
- Extraction logs — the job notes you submit and what the assist matched, kept so we can debug when a match goes wrong.
Where it lives
Account data and everything above is stored on Supabase, in a US region (US East).
What the AI sees — and what it doesn't
When you ask for a draft quote, your job notes and your price book's item names and keywords are sent to Anthropic's API so the model can match notes to assemblies. Your prices are not sent. The model never sees a dollar figure; prices are attached on our server, from your book only.
Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent to their API is not used to train their models.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no ad trackers.
- No selling or renting your data to anyone.
- No sharing your price book — it is never used to price another contractor's quotes.
Cookies
One job only: keeping you signed in. The auth session is the only cookie-style storage we use — no analytics cookies, no third-party trackers.
Deleting your data
Email support@quotejig.com from your account address and we'll delete your account and everything attached to it — price book, quotes, and extraction logs. We'll confirm when it's done. Export your data first if you want to keep it; export is always available, including during and after the trial.
